Aimed at CISOs and technical security leaders, the book explores why serious cyber risks often go undetected despite modern tools, dashboards, and compliance frameworks. Rather than focusing on specific technologies or threats, Richard examines the less visible factors that undermine security — including organisational complexity, technical debt, and the gap between policy and real-world practice.
Written from a practitioner’s perspective, What You Can’t See! challenges traditional ideas of “security maturity” and encourages leaders to look beyond surface metrics to better understand their true risk exposure.
